{"id":8338,"date":"2022-04-25T15:56:28","date_gmt":"2022-04-25T20:56:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/giamazon.org\/?p=8338"},"modified":"2022-09-23T14:30:54","modified_gmt":"2022-09-23T19:30:54","slug":"voices-from-the-forest-community-driven-strategies-and-actions-for-biocultural-conservation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/giamazon.org\/es\/news\/voices-from-the-forest-community-driven-strategies-and-actions-for-biocultural-conservation\/","title":{"rendered":"VOCES DEL BOSQUE: Resumen de la conferencia"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\">[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_custom_heading text=\u00bbLos d\u00edas 22 y 24 de febrero de 2022, el Centro de Estudios Latinoamericanos y el Programa de Desarrollo de la Conservaci\u00f3n Tropical facilitaron una conferencia virtual \u00abVOCES DEL BOSQUE: Estrategias y acciones comunitarias para la conservaci\u00f3n biocultural\u00ab.<\/p>\n<p>El evento reuni\u00f3 a 27 voces ind\u00edgenas y representantes de organizaciones de base como presentadores y colaboradores provenientes de Bolivia, Brasil, Colombia, Ecuador y Paraguay los cuales presentaron sus perspectivas sobre c\u00f3mo proteger los bosques tropicales y los r\u00edos para lograr objetivos interdependientes para la conservaci\u00f3n de la biodiversidad, soluciones clim\u00e1ticas, y justicia social y ambiental.<\/p>\n<p>La conferencia se sustent\u00f3 en la metodolog\u00eda, las lecciones y la red pan-amaz\u00f3nica de organizaciones de base, ONGs y universidades desarrolladas conjuntamente por el proyecto Gobernanza e Infraestructura en la Amazon\u00eda (GIA) de la Universidad de Florida, recientemente completado. M\u00e1s de 100 participantes incluyeron estudiantes, profesores, organizaciones de base, ONG y miembros de la comunidad de donantes.<\/p>\n<p>Las preguntas orientadoras que se tocaron fueron:<\/p>\n<p>1. \u00bfC\u00f3mo pueden colaborar las diversas partes interesadas para abordarlos desaf\u00edos del clima, la biodiversidad y la justicia socioambiental?<br \/>\n2. \u00bfC\u00f3mo se pueden garantizar de manera efectiva los derechos y la gesti\u00f3n territorial adecuada de las poblaciones ind\u00edgenas y las comunidades locales como parte integral de la conservaci\u00f3n y las soluciones clim\u00e1ticas?<br \/>\n3. \u00bfQu\u00e9 acciones son necesarias y por qui\u00e9n?<\/p>\n<p>La conferencia se estructur\u00f3 en paneles que se centraron en los desaf\u00edos actuales y compartieron una visi\u00f3n para futuras actividades de colaboraci\u00f3n para la conservaci\u00f3n de bosques y r\u00edos tropicales cr\u00edticos. Se conformaron tres mesas de trabajo sobre estrategias y acciones para garantizar los derechos b\u00e1sicos, apoyar la adecuada gesti\u00f3n territorial y fortalecer las capacidades de las comunidades ind\u00edgenas y tradicionales.
